On Clavicular and The Rise of Looksmaxxing

Have you seen the baby-faced chad who smashes his face with a hammer to become more attractive? You’ve probably heard of Clavicular by now. If not, he’s a God to young men who worship the science of physical attractiveness. He unlocked his potential through sheer force of will. He’s a living Patrick Bateman to millions of zoomers.

My long-time subscribers know where I stand on this phenomenon. Looksmaxxing embraces feminist ideology by assuming women and men are equal. Therefore, they believe women operate the same way as men. In their minds, girls prioritize physical attractiveness above all, which they do not. This is a colossal misunderstanding of female nature.

Obsessing over your looks might attract some women in the short-term but this isn’t a strong foundation for keeping them around long-term. That being said, merely trying to get laid isn’t what’s going on here.

Looksmaxxing is what happens when society fucks over a generation of men from childhood. Their options to become successful through traditional means are slim. When a zoomer who’s been taught his sexuality is inherently toxic finds an alternative path, I sit my millennial ass down and listen. If I were 19 years old, I’d think Clavicular is a God too.

I’m part of the last generation who knows what life is like without the internet. In high school, if you thought a girl was cute, you’d pass her a note in class. With paper and a pen. You’d flirt and eventually ask her on a date. You’d make out in the hallway before parting ways. None of this was remotely scandalous. A healthy pursuit of women was normal and encouraged.

Contrast that with the experience of the average 19 year old male who grew up in the midst of the MeToo movement. Sexual dynamics were taught to them by miserable, older, underfucked women. They were taught their natural lust for women is “problematic.” They’ve had access to porn since they were kids. They knew about OnlyFans before they hit puberty. Their understanding of women has been fueled by a bleak cultural nightmare.

That being said, some men have retained their drive to become successful with women regardless. Sadly, most of their millennial older brothers haven’t given them an ideal path to walk down. The majority who give zoomers advice on women are either extremely blackpilled or nuclear simps. Not a good set of options.

I commend any man who wants to ascend the default state of the average nobody. If mastering their face makes them cocky enough to question the assumption that Sydney Sweeney is attractive without becoming a homosexual — they will earn a confidence far above the average millennial. Not putting women on a pedestal is the first step to maintaining self-respect.

However, the lack of substance in looksmaxxing shouldn’t be overlooked. Your finely-tuned sack of flesh will sag and deteriorate as you age. Evolving as a man means more than just evolving your face. Attracting women as an adult (which is 30+ now) requires having character, a good sense of humor, and not being broke. Merely having a good face only gets you so far. The values of Patrick Bateman are great for memes but are deeply nihilistic and an expression of self-hatred.

That being said, I can relate to looksmaxxers. I’ve been allergic to cultural trends my whole life. When my millennial friends wore skinny jeans and eyeliner, I told them they were faggots. I don’t watch porn, play video games, or pay attention to sports. Even now, I’m rejecting the trend of politics replacing culture. Ignoring what’s expected of me has reaped rewards in nearly every area of my life.

Time will tell if looksmaxxing yields benefits in the long-term. Until then, I salute them for rejecting the vacuous world they were raised in.
