I’m going to expand on a post of mine, building on an important Landshark tweet.
I see these types of relationships quite often:
Girl dates man who sleeps with a lot of girls. She thinks he’s only sleeping with her. He isn’t. She thinks she’s his girlfriend. She isn’t.
Man settles down with his first serious girlfriend. She bosses him around. He doesn’t stand up for himself. His friends never hear from him.
Girl dates a man stuck between adolescence and adulthood. She wants to get married. He doesn’t. She waits around. Nothing happens.
All of these relationships shouldn’t exist. Both people have valid reasons to dump each other but neither of them make the very difficult decision to pull the trigger. So they stay together. They settle for mediocrity. In this post I’m going to talk about why.
