What Is a Good Woman?

Contrary to internet orthodoxy — there are a lot of good women. I’m lucky enough to have known many of them. To dispel the notion that all women are equally horrific, I will describe what is, in my experience, a good woman.

A good woman is transparent. If she wants you to trust her, she will go out of her way to prove that to you. If she feels anything could get in the way of this bond, she will get ahead of it.

A good woman trusts men she admires. If she respects you, and you honor that respect, she will let you make nearly every decision for her, down to what she’s eating that day. She wants to meet a man she feels is safe to surrender to.

A good woman is pleasant. She doesn’t want to nag you because she doesn’t want to undermine you. Her presence is easy to be around.
