What Does It Mean To Be "Right Wing"?

It certainly means more than "worshipping Donald Trump"

Over the last few months, I’ve become disillusioned.

Literally Me

I’m not the first person to stop Trusting Le Plan. Many former Plan Trusters became Democrats or started urging Republicans to start voting Democrat out of spite. Not only is that retarded, but it’s acting directly against my best interests.

I’ve been thinking about what those interests are. Which principles would force me to vote for someone who advocates for them, or claims to, in order to prevent someone from being elected who explicitly opposes them?

I’ve witnessed the meaning of “left wing” and “right wing” completely flip several times. When I was a kid, I thought of Republicans as religious PTA moms who wanted to slap a ‘Parental Advisory’ sticker on every CD that contained a curse word. Now Republicans are more likely to advocate for freedom of speech, whereas Democrats tend to be pro-censorship.

The left used to be generally pacifist and the right more hawkish. Now both the left and the right will support or oppose a war depending on whether or not Donald Trump supports it.

If the definition of a word is fluid, then it doesn’t mean anything. Therefore, it doesn’t make sense to claim you’re “right wing” if the meaning of “right wing” could completely reverse in just a few years. Unless, of course, right wing means “not left wing”, which also doesn’t mean anything.

For many Democrat voters, being left wing currently means opposing orange racist pedophile Donald Trump, regardless of if he’s acting in your best interests.

For many Republican voters, being right wing currently means worshipping your Lord and Savior Donald Trump, regardless of if he’s acting in your best interests.

That isn’t right wing. That’s being a cheerleader, a propagandist, and a slave.
